Put on those wigs ATL! The MondoHomo season has arrived and the annual event Wig Out is around the corner. Up for a third edition, the MondoPosse urges queers and allies to put on a wig and get down and dirty during the spring’s most queerlicious event. Staying true to this year’s theme, “Queer Justice! Queer Beats!”, Wig Out is dedicated to demanding an inclusive queer space for celebration of wigs, dancing, drag, and queer identity. The event begins at 2pm and ends at 8pm at the Eagle in Midtown.
The day of Saturday messy fun exhibits a dynamic array of drag, burlesque and other performances about gaytastic wigs. It’s all about those wigs, girl! This year’s new host is the dynamic Koochie Koochie Ku with a performer list that will blow your orgasmic minds! The performances will be taking place inside the bar establishment while a dunk tank, beer pong, and hot dogs and hamburgers (vegan friendly, too) are happening outside. The event also features ATL queer DJ Vicki Powell, ready to make the queers move and dance. And don’t forget the MondoPosse’s queerly crafted jello shots! In celebration of the Easter weekend, everyone get excited for an Easter egg hunt! These aren’t Cadbury eggs, y’all!
Tickets are $15 at the door. Advance tickets are available through our website, at The Eagle, Charis Bookstore, Mary’s, and the Atlanta Radical Faeries for $10!
Tee shirts will be available for purchase. All MondoHomo events are pay what you can!
